GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is the Choreography Workshop? The Choreography Workshop is a structured, expert-led experience to give dancers the opportunity to learn basic choreography skills, be guided by professionals, & showcase a sample of their own work in the final show experience.

What is the Performance Workshop? The Performance Workshop is led by our Surprise Industry Guest Artist! They will work one-on-one with the dancers to develop their individual performance qualities & help them find their voice. A Live Q & A will also be held to give dancers an opportunity to ask questions & receive advice & guidance in the professional world.

Tell me more about the Squad Rotation. Dancers will rotate with their small groups through different behind-the-scenes experiences with focuses such as Acting, Stage Management/Vision Casting, Lighting Design, Musicality, & Film.

What is the Community Sesh? Dancers will receive their own personal RSTC Journal, and will be led through reflective questions & goal setting exercises to help them grow and cast vision for their future. Dancers will also experience team building exercises & games during this time.

What are the details for the Photo Shoot Experience? Each dancer will have a 20 minute time slot. Individual Photos & Galleries will be available for purchase post-event. Professional Hair & Make-Up is available for an additional fee.

What are the details for the Video Shoot Experience? Learn what it looks like to be on the set of a concept dance video. Dancers will learn a bonus piece of choreography to perform in the dance video, and will also have the chance to work creatively with our team to create the storyline. The video will debut during the shows on Friday. Dancers will receive a copy of the video after the show.

What kind of commitment will be needed for the Summer Event? We know your Summer Plans are important. Dancers participating will receive all their breakdown videos upfront, and have the opportunity to work at their own pace to learn the choreography before the event. We will have ONE VIRTUAL Rehearsal for clarification & cleaning before the event week.

How do we receive choreography? Rhythmic Souls provides breakdown videos of the choreography for our dancers to pre-learn. This allows flexibility & efficiency throughout the summer.

What about Summer Technique Classes? Summer Technique Classes will be held every Sunday ongoing throughout the Summer, and are $125/month for Unlimited Access.

Are the instructional videos able to be viewed at any time, or are they on a set schedule that the student needs to log into at a certain time/day? ​
The videos can be accessed & practiced any time throughout the week.

What if my dancer struggles to learn off of video?
We have weekly privates available to help if you dancer would like additional one-on-one help.

Do we have to come in for the live show? Yes, you are required to commute into the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area for the Live Show Experience.

What type of shoes are required?
The tap shoes your dancer has are great! We also allow colored/custom tap shoes if you have them. We are also happy to provide professional recommendations for shoes, and do sell GS1 Tap Boots for an additional fee.

LIVE SHOW QUESTIONS

What other costs am I responsible for?
You will provide your own transportation, lodging, & flight for your in-town stay. You will also need to purchase tickets to watch the show. These can range from $10-$30. We also have other Add-On events your dancer can sign up for as well: photoshoot, video shoot, performance workshop, choreography workshop, and more!

What do we do for costumes?
Costume guidelines will be located at the top of your dancers choreography page. You can decide how much you want to spend. Dancers have the option to pull something right out of their closet for $0 or shop for something new!
Just make sure it fits in with the guidelines provided.

Do you have a hotel block or recommendations?
We recommend you find the best hotel for your family since we have dancers coming in from all over the country! We do not provide a hotel block. Check out your Summer Dashboard page for general recommendations that are nearby the venue. 

When will the events be over so we know how soon we can fly out?
T​ypically, our Shows end by 3:30pm on the last day of the Show Week.

How do I purchase Tickets to the Show? When will they be available for purchase?
Ticketing Pre-Sale opens up about a month out. Tickets range from $10-$30, and can be purchased online.

Do the students get dropped off, or do the parents need to stay at the Show Week venue? ​
Our rehearsals are closed to parents so you can be surprised at the show! We have staff backstage & in the dressing rooms overseeing the students at all times.

Is food provided for my dancer? What’s the best way to get them their food?
We encourage parents to pack plenty of snacks, water, and whatever else your dancer needs for the day. They will have small breaks to grab a snack/water. Additionally, we have a scheduled lunch break during the weekend where you can take your dancer to get food or drop off food for them. 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT QUESTIONS

How do I apply a scholarship? The amount of your scholarship will be deducted from your initial payment when you apply the scholarship discount code that you were given. After that, you will need to pay only the remaining balance. CLICK HERE to apply your scholarship and to register.

If I choose the Basic or Plus Tier, do I have to sign up for the Live Add-Ons right away? You can sign up for the Live Add-Ons at any point, but each experience will have limited availability.

Is there a Payment Plan Option? There is a Payment Plan offered if you purchase the VIP Option. You may choose to divide the payment into 2 payments if you would like.

Can I participate in one of the Live Add-Ons ONLY, and not participate in the rest of the event? Add-On Experiences are only offered to dancers who participate in the Basic, Plus, or VIP Tiers.

Can I cancel my registration if needed?
Yes, cancellation is allowed with a 30 day notice. No refunds will be awarded.

Is there an extra show fee involved?
No, your participation in the shows are included in your registration.
